The big show

Claire takes 'gymnacksticks', which she loves. Today was her big show. I am not sure she is the next Nadia Lou Rettonov, but we were proud of her and her medal. After being told that Claire won a medal, my mom asked what she won it for. The answer? Being present.

I like this program because they are not all serious about themselves. It's lots of laughs and bubbles and learning a few moves without any eastern bloc scream-in-your-face-style coaching techniques. (For an example of that style, see my swim coach from 6th/7th grade. Yikes!). I mean she is only 4. That's for when she moves into the 5 year old group.
